Sorry, I got laid off because of “change” and lost my free static IP at work... I will try and bring it back up as soon as I find a static IP again.


I used EZcom2web, that is a web hosting program that allows access to the serial com ports, then I used the www.mBed.org virtual com port driver (free) for the mBed micro controller to fool the computer into believing that the mBed USB port was a standard serial com port.


Easy and cheap home automation!
